Holiday Shipping Guide

With the holiday season now in full swing, our Customer Service team have received several emails and phone calls from customers who have questions regarding delivery times, shipping cut-offs, etc. We understand the importance of receiving orders in time (especially when the items are intended to be gifts for loved ones!) and so we have compiled a brief shipping guide to help clarify our shipping policy and recommendations.

Recommended Shipping Dates for Canadian Orders 

As per Canada Post's guidelines, our suggested mailing dates to ensure delivery by Christmas are as follows:

  • Orders being shipped within Canada by Canada Post Expedited Parcel (standard shipping) or FedEx Ground should be placed no later than 2:00pm PST on December 14th - especially if the order is being shipped to Ontario, Quebec or any eastern province. 
  • Orders being shipped within Canada by Xpresspost or by FedEx Economy should be placed no later 2:00pm PST on December 19th. 
  • FedEx Overnight is recommended for all orders placed on December 20th or 21st.

Recommended Shipping Dates for American & International Orders

  • Orders being shipped to the United States by Canada Post Expedited Parcel (USPS) or by FedEx Ground should be placed no later than 2:00pm PST on December 10th. 
  • Orders being shipped to the United States by FedEx Economy should be placed no later than 2:00pm PST on December 19th. 
  • Orders being shipped to any other international destination should be placed no later than 2:00pm PST on December 13th.

Winter / Holiday Shipping Policy

Our Customer Service team have noticed a slight increase in missing / lost / damaged parcels during the holiday season. To help avoid complications with delivery, our shipping policy during this busy season is to request a "card for pick up" on all orders exceeding $100 (apartment and condo buildings) and $150 (homes). This means a notification card will be delivered to your address indicating that the parcel is ready for pick up at a nearby post office. If you prefer a parcel be left at your door, you can request this in the "Special Instructions" box on the order form.
