Many of our customers have phoned in asking for an update on the pending Canada Post strike and wanting to know how this will affect the delivery of their orders. The union representing 48,000 postal workers issued a formal notice that they will strike at 11:59pm Thursday, June 2nd if an agreement cannot be reached by that time. If Canada Post does go on strike any shipments that are in transit will likely be delayed until an agreement can be reached.
To avoid delays and complications, we are strongly encouraging our customers to consider selecting FedEx as their shipping option instead of Canada Post and we've temporarily lowered our FedEx Ground shipping rate to make this option more accessible to our customers.
For more information on the pending strike and for any updates on this situation, please consult the Shipping Information page on our website.
Please feel free to contact our Customer Service department at any time should you have questions or concerns about your order with us.
